The C-RED New Space from First Light Imaging is a 0.33 Megapixel SWIR Camera that has a spectral range of 0.9 µm - 1.7 µm. It has a resolution of 640 (H) x 512 (V) pixels and pixel pitch of 15 µm. This camera has a VGA InGaAs sensor that delivers a frame rate of 600 fps (full frame) and has a quantum efficiency above 70%. It has a 14-bit quantization with an image full well capacity of 1.4 Me- (low gain), 115 ke- (medium gain), and 34 ke- (high gain). This camera has a readout noise of less than 30 e- (at high gain) and an operability of over 99.8%.
The C-RED New Space has a dynamic range of 93 dB & true 16 bits and maximum speed of 32066 fps. It supports LVTTL synchronization & CameraLink® data interfaces and uses GUI first light vision SDKs that include [C, C++, C#, Python, MatLab], LabVIEW & µManager. This camera requires an AC supply voltage of 100 V - 264 V and consumes 0.5 W - 13.9 W (sensor) & 6 W (stack) of power. It is ideal for FSO communications, space exploration, data exchange, cubesats, earth observations, environmental monitoring, and gas detection applications.
