The PIXIS:1024B/BUV from Teledyne Princeton Instruments is a 1.04 Megapixel CCD Camera that has a resolution of 1024 (H) x 1024 (V) pixels. It delivers a maximum frame rate of 0.58 s (at 2 MHz) & 10 s (at 100 kHz) (at 1 x 1 Binning), 0.28 s (at 2 MHz) & 2.8 s (at 100 kHz) (at 2 x 2 Binning) and 0.14 s (at 2 MHz) & 0.85 s (at 100 kHz) (at 8 x 8 Binning). This back-illuminated camera has a pixel size of 13 μm x  13 μm and read noise of 3 e- (at 100 kHz) & 9 e- (at 2 MHz). It has an e2v CCD47-10, AIMO CCD image sensor that has an imaging area of 13.3 x  13.3 mm and a fill factor of 100%. This camera has a full well capacity of 100 ke- & 250 ke- and dark current of 0.0004.
The PIXIS:1024B/BUV has 16-bit ADC at 100 kHz & 2 MHz and vertical shift speed of less than 3.2 μs/row - 18 μs/row. This camera has a nonlinearity of below 1 % and gains of 1 e-/ADU, 2 e-/ADU & 4 e-/ADU. It supports USB 2.0 & an optional fiber optic interfaces and can be operated by Windows 8/7 (64-bit), Windows 8/7/XP (32-bit) and Linux (64-bit) systems. This camera has 2 MCX connectors, an adjustable lens C-mount and a UV coating (except for BUV version). It is available in a package that measures 16.59 cm x 11.81 cm x 11.38 cm and is ideal for astronomy, photometry, El/pl imaging, luminescence & fluorescence imaging, and Bose-einstein condensate (bec) applications.
