This spectrometer has a focal length of 115 mm and stray light of 0.05%. It has an optical bench with a numerical aperture (NA) of 0.10 and signal-to-noise ratio greater than 1300. The Prometheus SERIES has a high-end Hamamatsu cooled CCD detector, grating, collector lens, slit, two mirrors, and linear variable order sorting filter. It has a dark noise (RMS) of 3 counts - 5 counts (16 bit ADC), integration time of 1.6 ms - 10 minutes, and data processing time of 15 ms. This spectrometer has a flicker measurement system with a luminance range of 1 cd/m² - 600,000 cd/m², measurement speed of 186567 samples/s, and contrast accuracy of ±1%. It has an internal mechanical shutter and OD filter wheel for very large dynamic range.

The Prometheus SERIES has a 5.1 MP IMX264 RGB CMOS sensor with an F-number (f/#) of 4.8 and integration times of 1000 μs - 10 s. It can be controlled via USB3, RS232, Ethernet, or trigger interfaces to measure spectral output, radiometric data, or color data. This spectrometer requires a DC supply voltage of 15 V and consumes 30 W of power. It is USBTMC compliant and has an SCPI command set. This spectrometer is available in a module that measures 373 mm x 240 mm x 152 mm and is ideal for industrial applications and to drive active accessories like an LED light source or a neutral density filter wheel.
