The GS-1163 from Gamma Scientific is a Multi-View Angle Spectrometer that operates from 380 to 780 nm. It can simultaneously perform color and luminescence measurements at three different angles (-60, 0 & 60 degrees). This 16-bit spectrometer has a luminescence measurement range from 0.005 to 5000 cd/m2 and a color measurement range from 0.01 to 5000 cd/m2. It has an integrated flicker sensor that has a measurement range from 5 to 5000 cd/m2 with an adjustable sampling rate of 100k samples/sec. This spectrometer also features a mechanical and electronic shutter that can perform single or continuous capture and it has an in-built laser positioning system.
The GS-1163 can be operated with either a USB 2.0 interface for high-speed devices or with an RS-232 interface for Windows/Mac OS X-compatible PCs and embedded devices using the SCPI command. It can measure luminance, CIE 1931 x, y, CIE 1976 u, v, CIE 1931 XYZ, peak and dominant wavelength, SPD and CCT, Max/Min, Average, RMS, Frequency, JEITA, VESA, Flicker Percentage (IES), and Flicker Index (IES) parameters. The spectrometer is available in a module that measures 240.0 x 216.5 x 136.3 mm and is ideal to perform true spectral measurements for high color saturation and wide color gamut OLED, micro-LED, and quantum dot displays.
