The SmartEngine Series from OtO Photonics are Czerny-Turner UV-VIS Spectrometers that operate at a wavelength of 180 nm - 1100 nm. They have a resolution (FWHM) of 0.2 nm - 10.5 nm and slit width of 10 µm, 25 µm, 50 µm, 100 µm, 200 µm & 300 µm. These spectrometers have a stray light of 0.2% & 0.45% and an f-number of 5. They have an integration time of 0.1 ms - 24 s and a numerical aperture of 0.1. They have an average dark noise of 14 - 38 and a signal-to-noise ratio of 200 - 500.

The SmartEngine Series have a dynamic range of 1700 - 6000 and 16-bit ADC resolution. They have 1024 pixels, 2048 pixels, 3648 pixels & 4096 pixels CMOS and CCD linear image sensors. These spectrometers have an 8-pin external I/O port and 6 pins for digital I/O data acquisition. They feature plug-and-play computer applications and have flash ROM storage.

The SmartEngine Series can be controlled via USB & UART interfaces and support SMA905 fiber optic interface. They require a DC supply voltage of 4.75 V - 5.25 V and consume 300 mA of current. These spectrometers are available in a compact package that measure 110 (L) mm x 86 (W) mm x 32.4 (H) mm, 110 (L) mm x 86 (W) mm x 35.4 (H) mm and 110 (L) mm x 86 (W) mm x 53.9 (H) mm. They are ideal for Raman system, biomedical detection, and environmental monitoring analysis applications.
