The MicroNIR PAT-Wx from Viavi Solutions Inc. is a Near Infrared Spectrometer that operates at a wavelength of 950 nm - 1650 nm. It has a pixel size of 30 µm x 250 µm and pixel pitch of 50 µm. This spectrometer has a spectral bandwidth of less than 1.25% (FWHM) and an input aperture of 2.5 mm x 3.0 mm. It has a pixel-to-pixel interval of 6.2 nm (for 950 nm -1650 nm) and maximum dynamic range of 1000:1. This spectrometer has a measurement time of 0.25 s - 0.5 s and 16-bit ADC output format. It has an integration time of 10 µs - 10 ms and a bulb life above 40000 hours.
The MicroNIR PAT-Wx has a 128-pixel InGaAs photodiode array, linear variable filter, and two integrated vacuum tungsten lamps. It features a HazLoc reinforced housing and an integrated 9-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU). This spectrometer supports Windows 7/8/8.1 operating systems and is compatible with MicroNIR PAT, Unscrambler X Lite & MicroNIR Process software. It is ATEX, NEC & IECEx compliant and can be controlled via TCP or IP Cat5 Ethernet 802.11 g WiFi interfaces.
The MicroNIR PAT-Wx requires an AC supply voltage of 110 V - 240 V and is available in a module that measures 160 mm x 136 mm x 136 mm. It is ideal for pharmaceutical manufacturing (tumble blending, fluid bed drying, high shear mixing, granulation & tableting), food & feed manufacturing (grain & flour processing, moisture, protein, fat & sugar analysis), and industrial processing (explosives manufacturing, polymers & petrochemicals) applications.
