VTRAC™ 308nm Monochromatic Excimer Light for the Treatment of Vitiligo

Vitiligo has long been known to be a photoresponsive disease, particularly to treatment with ultraviolet light (PUVA, UVB, NBUVB). More recently, the 308nm excimer laser has been demonstrated to be a very effective treatment for vitiligo, Repigmentation obtained with the VTRAC Excimer Lamp compares very favorably with other treatment modalities. As with other forms of phototherapy for vitiligo, response rates vary.
