The purpose of this application note is to document the EEPROM contents of Finisar’s 100 Gigabit Ethernet QSFP28 LR4 modules. All registers are supported per SFF-8636 REV 2.7 Common Management Interface, which are applicable for a SM (separable module) and per SFF-8024 REV 3.9 Specification for SFF Committee Cross Reference to Industry Products. The EEPROM Mapping below is meant to be an inclusive listing of what is supported by the transceiver.
