Nowadays wireless communications are indispensable for civil and military sectors. In particular, the demand for high data rate or high capacity wireless communication systems has grown exponentially within the last years. For instance, it is predicted that the monthly global mobile data traffic will surpass 24.3 Exabyte by 2019. For providing such enormous capacities, it will be necessary to develop wireless systems operating at millimeter-wave bands and even terahertz bands because international regulatory bodies have opened up more bandwidth for wireless services in these frequency ranges as compared to the microwave region.
