This application notes shows how full crosstalk characterization of a 1xN device under test (DUT) can be automated using the CTP10 component test platform and EXFO's swept tunable lasers. For multiport optical components, crosstalk (also referred to as directivity or isolation) characterizes the leaking of light into another channel where no optical power should be present.
