The first part of the test was performed under relatively constant wind conditions (without significant wind gusts) on the first fiber loop, which is the loop perpendicular to the St. Lawrence River (see Geographical Location, Figure 15). The Stokes parameters show some noise and slow variations. The state of polarization (SOP) behavior of that first measurement displays a slow shift in the three components of the Stokes vector with relatively little noise.
