Cable multiple-system operators (MSOs) have a firmly established reputation for the reliable delivery of residential video services. They are building on this reputation and continuing to strengthen their presence in the overall networking industry with competitive service portfolios that include broadband Internet, voice over IP (VoIP) / telephony and video on demand (VoD). In addition to their residential portfolio, MSOs are also building up their commercial services portfolios with competitive offerings for cellular backhaul and metropolitan Ethernet services.
