There are currently two basic test setups that can be used for the Packet Blazer/ENIU combination: the RFC-2544 Analyzer and the Frame Analyzer/Generator. Only one test port is required for each test setup. Connecting the Packet Blazer to the ENIU can be done using either fiber-optic cable or electrical RJ-45 cable (cross-over or straight through). The decision to use electrical or fiber-optic cables depends on the model of ADC ENIU being used.
