The 640 and 641 Absolute and Gage Pressure Controllers are designed to be used with a wide range of chamber volume, pressure and flow rate. Because of these diverse applications, these units were provided with the capability of tuning the control algorithm for proper response in virtually all situations. In order to accomplish this, the pressure controllers have been designed with multi-position switches on the top of the enclosure for both the Proportional and Integral terms of the PID control algorithm. These are easily accessible so that they may be adjusted in the field without affecting the calibration of the device, without removal of the device from the tool, or removal of the enclosure from the unit.
