This Note describes the instrumentation and methods needed to analyze process and equipment data using multivariate analysis and modeling for real-time fault detection in manufacturing processes. MKS Instruments’ SenseLink™ QM quality monitor system with Sartorius’ MVA technology provides a complete solution for process monitoring, quality prediction, and fault detection. SenseLink QM system implemented on an MKS Process Automation Controller (PAC) module for quality monitoring and fault detection in a typical manufacturing process. The PAC with SenseLink QM enables the analysis of system data via a simple web-based interface (data can also be sent to a networked database for additional storage)
