Real-time Gas Composition Analyzer For Liquefied Natural Gas (lng) Process Monitoring And Control

Download Whitepaper
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is becoming a more prominent source of energy and heat generation as environmental concerns grow. Hydrocarbon deposits used to create LNG consist of methane, ethane, acidic compounds such as hydrogen sulphide, and multiple impurities. Traditionally, LNG processes have used gas chromatographs (GC) to monitor gas composition at different points in the process. To ensure manufactured LNG doesn’t damage downstream equipment and is suitable for energy and power generation, gas composition analysis needs to happen faster, enabling operators to quickly adjust parameters as process conditions change.
