Controlling Temperatures of Diode Lasers Thermoelectrically
In many applications, active temperature control improves the performance of optoelectronic devices. In most solid-state detectors, noise decreases with operating temperature. Responsivity also varies with operating temperature and therefore must be stabilized through active temperature control, if a high degree of radiometric accuracy is required.
