Laptop PC: X-ray irradiation time is very short so electronic component damage is held to an absolute minimum during inspection. The high dynamic range of the camera detects a wide range of brightness distributions in one shot. Images of various objects ranging from lowdensity members such as resin and thin aluminum to high-density members such as batteries, HDD and CD drive structures can be acquired at the same time. PCB: When used along with a microfocus X-ray source, the camera gives sharp images that allow detecting the bonding wire status and solder voids.
