The 1850-2100 nm AOM from BeamQ Lasers is a Tellurium Dioxide (TeO2) Acousto-Optic Modulator that operates at a wavelength of 1850 nm - 2100 nm. It delivers a continuous wave optical power of 0.5 or 5 W and has a carrier frequency/frequency shift of +80 or -80 MHz. This fiber-pigtailed AOM has an insertion loss of 4 dB and a static extinction ratio of 50 dB. It has a rise/fall time of 30 ns and maximum analog amplitude modulation bandwidth of 12 MHz. This AOM has a linear (PM fibers) or random (SM fibers) input/output polarization with a maximum polarization dependence loss of 1 dB and polarization extinction ratio (PER) of 20 dB.
The 1850-2100 nm AOM uses PM 1950 or SM1950 fiber types and supports FC/APC or super FC/PC fiber connectors. It has a voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of 1.2:1 and requires a maximum RF power of 2.5 W. This AOM has an input impedance of 50 Ohms and is ROHS compliant. It is available in an IN PRO 334 package that measures 89 x 46.6 x 32.5 mm3 and is ideal for intensity modulation, fixed or variable frequency shifting, pulse picking, and q-switching applications.
