The CAQS-027-al-FSt-w-c from GWU-Lasertechnik Vertriebsges is a Fused silica Acousto-Optic Modulator (AOM) that operates at a wavelength of 1064 nm. It has an active aperture area that measures 1.6, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.5 & 8 mm, an operating frequency of 27.12 MHz, and over 99.6% single-pass transmission efficiency. This randomly polarized AOM operates in Raman Nath mode and has a diffraction angle of 3.32 mrad with a diffraction efficiency of over 60%. It has a damage threshold above 1 GW/cm2 and a maximum VSWR of 1.20:1. This AOM requires 50 W of power for compressional acoustic mode and 100 W for shear acoustic mode. It is available in a module that measures 61.2 x 37.5 x 62 mm and has a BNC RF connector. This AOM is ideal for material processing, medical, and scientific applications.
