The AOM-402AF1 from IntraAction Corp. is a Dense Flint Glass Acousto Optic Modulator (AOM) that operates at a wavelength of 440 nm - 700 nm. This AOM has an acoustic center frequency of 40 MHz and an acoustic velocity of 3630 m/sec. It has an optical frequency shift range of ±(30 - 50) MHz and a modulation bandwidth of 2.7 MHz (1.0 mm beam diameter) & 1.8 MHz (1.5 mm beam diameter) at -3db. This AOM has an optical rise time of 177 nsec (1.0 mm beam diameter) & 265 nsec (1.5 mm beam diameter) and requires a drive power of 1.8 Watts (at 633 nm). 

The AOM-402AF1 has static optical insertion loss of 2% (at 633 nm) and an active aperture height of 2 mm. This AOM has a diffraction efficiency of 90% and beam separation of 6.9 mrad (at 633 nm). It has an RF input impedance of 50 Ohms (VSWR < 1.25:1 at CF) and supports BNC RF connector. This is available in a 22.4 (H) x 74.7 (D) x 62.5 (W) mm package and is ideal for intensity modulation, optical frequency shifting, and laser beam deflection applications.
