The QCQ80-A0.8-L1064-Z32-C from AA Opto Electronic is a Quartz Crystal Acousto-Optic Q-Switch that operates at a wavelength of 1064 nm. It has a carrier/shift frequency of ± 80 MHz and an active aperture of 0.8 mm x 0.8 mm. This linearly & vertically polarised AOQS has an acoustic mode velocity of 5740 m/s and a transmission above 99%. It has a diffraction efficiency of 85% and an optical power density of 500 MW/cm2. This AOQS has a minimum static extinction ratio of 30 dB and rise time of 30 ns.

The QCQ80-A0.8-L1064-Z32-C has a separation angle of over 29.6 mrad and voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of up to 1.2:1. It has a damage threshold above 500 MW/cm2 and an optical length of 32 mm.
