The GLUX9701BSI from Gpixel Inc. is a 1.3 Megapixel CMOS Image Sensor that has a resolution of 1280 (H) × 1024 (V) pixels. It has a rolling shutter in a 1" optical format that delivers a frame rate of 30 fps (HDR) and 25 fps (low noise). This backside illuminated (BSI) CMOS image sensor has a pixel size of 9.76 μm x 9.76 μm and maximum data rate of 445.5Mbps (at Sub-LVDS & MIPI). It has a dynamic range of 89.5 dB (HDR) and quantum efficiency of 89% (at 610 nm). This CMOS image sensor has a photosensitive area of 12.493 mm × 9.994 mm with full well capacity of 48 ke-.

The GLUX9701BSI has 2 types of data output channels: 4 pairs of sub-LVDS channels and MIPI (CSI-2, D-PHY). It produces mono output and has a dark current of 0.08 e-/s/pixel. This CMOS image sensor has a dark noise of 1.6 e- (HDR) & 0.85 e- (low noise) and pixel clock rate of 37.125 MHz. It requires a DC supply voltage of 1.8 V (digital) & 3.3 V (analog) and consumes up to 250 mW (HDR) & 160 mW (low noise) of power. This CMOS image sensor is available in an 84-pin CLCC package that measures 22 mm x 15.93 mm and is ideal for surveillance, scientific imaging, and UV industrial inspection applications.
