The GMAX32152 from Gpixel Inc. is a 152 Megapixel CMOS Image Sensor that is designed for display inspection, aerial mapping and surveying applications. It has a global shutter in a Ø 60.6 mm medium optical format that provides a frame rate of 16 fps with a shutter efficiency of -83.5 dB. This image sensor has a 12-bit ADC that provides a dynamic range of 67.3 dB and quantum efficiency of 66.9%. It has a dark noise of 4 e-, a dark current of 12 e-/s and a full well capacity of 9300 e- . This image sensor uses 38x sub-LVDS, 3x DDR clock and CTRL channel interfaces for output.
The GMAX32152 has Bayer RGB/mono chroma and a photosensitive area of 53 x 29.4 mm with a wide aspect ratio of 1.8:1. It has 38/20/14/11/8/5 channel multiplexing that delivers a data rate of up to 36.48 Gbps (960 Mbps per channel). This image sensor has 3.2 x 3.2 &mum pixels that operate with true correlated double sampling (CDS) which allows low read noise and high dynamic range. It also uses Light Pipe technology that provides exceptional PLS and angular response of 15°.
The GMAX32152 requires a DC supply of 3.3/1.3 V (analog), 2.5-3.3 V (IO) & 1.2 V (digital) and consumes less than 2.8 W of power. It is available in a 183 Pins uPGA package that measures 52 x 68.2 x 3.5 mm.
