The AAA5021P from SK Hynix is a 50 Megapixel CMOS Image Sensor that has a resolution of 8192 (H) x 6144 (V) pixels. It has a 1/2.55" optical format that delivers a frame rate of 15 fps (at 8192 x 6144 px), 30 fps (at 4096 x 3072 px), and 240 fps (at 2048 x 1160 px). This backside illuminated (BSI) CMOS image sensor has a pixel size of 0.7 μm x 0.7 μm and an effective image size of 5756.8 μm (H) X 4323.2 μm(V). It has a 10-bit ADC resolution and an on-chip Phase Locked Loop (PLL) with a clock frequency of 10 MHz  - 27 MHz. This image sensor has a built-in temperature sensor and 16 KB OTP memory.

The AAA5021P features dual camera synchronization (FSync), dead pixel correction, HW remosaic function, dual conversion gain, and black level calibration. It has a Quad Bayer color filter and supports Quad Bayer or Sum Bayer 10 bit output formats. This image sensor can be controlled via a two-wire serial bus interface, Gyro interface, and uses MIPI C-PHY 3-Lane & D-PHY 4-Lane interface for output. It requires a supply voltage of 2.8 V (analog), 1.2/1.8 V (IO) & 1.1 V (digital) and dissipates 371 mW (at 30fps, 4096 x 3072, 4lane), 389 mW (at 240fps, 2048 x 1160, 4lane) & 566 mW (at 15fps, 8192 x 6144, 4lane). This image sensor is ideal for mobile phone cameras, digital still cameras, video conference, and PC camera applications.
