The SC550XS from SmartSens Technology is a 50 Megapixel CMOS Image Sensor that is based on a 22 nm process. It has a rolling shutter in a 1/1.56” optical format that delivers a frame rate of up to 30 fps at 8192 x 6144 resolution. This image sensor has a sensitivity of 688 mV/Lux·s (Full-Size Mode) & 2753 mV/Lux·s (QCell Bin Mode) and an SNR of 37 dB (Full-Size Mode) & 44 dB (QCell Bin Mode) with a dynamic range of 74 dB (Full-Size Mode) & 86 dB (QCell Bin Mode). It has a CRA of 36.65° and produces output in RAW RGB format. This image sensor uses a 1/2/3 trio MIPI C-PHY interface with a maximum data rate of 3.0 Gsps/trio and a 2/4 lane MIPI D-PHY interface with a maximum data rate of 3.0 Gbps/lane for output.

The SC550XS uses SmartSens' proprietary AllPix ADAF technology to achieve 100% all-pixel all-direction autofocus coverage. It has SmartSens' SmartClarity-2 Technology that enables high-end flagship smartphone main cameras to produce movie-like image quality. This image sensor has exceptional full-color night vision performance enabled by SFCPixel Technology and PixGain Technology. It also produces richer detail in the highlights and shadows of a scene via multiple HDR technologies such as PixGain HDR.

The SC550XS requires a DC supply of 0.9 - 2.8 V and is available in a COB or RW package that measures 9.405 x 7.353 mm (COB) & 9.505 x 7.453 mm (RW). It is ideal for flagship smartphone main cameras, PC multimedia devices, and removable device cameras.
