The CIS113 from Teledyne Imaging is an 8.8 Megapixel CMOS Image Sensor that has a resolution of 1920 (H) x 4608 (V). It has an electronic global/rolling shutter that delivers a frame rate of 1.8 fps with a pixel size of 16 µm x 16 µm. This CMOS image sensor has an image area of 73.728 × 30.72 mm and an output settling time of 420 ns. It has a dynamic range of 76 dB, a saturation charge per pixel (QSAT) of 19,000 e−/pixel, and a peak linear charge per pixel (QLIN) of 15,500 e−/pixel. This CMOS image sensor has a non-linearity of ±1.5% and an overall conversion gain of 90 µV/e−. It has an ERS readout noise of 2.3 e− rms and a readout pixel rate of 2 MP/s.
The CIS113 CMOS image sensor is common with most high-performance MOS IC devices and is static sensitive. It has a dark current of 0.15 e−/pixel/s and a DSNU of 0.1 e−/pixel/s. This image sensor has a small signal lag of 2% (at 0.3 V) and a high signal lag of 3% (at 1.2 V). It has a quantum efficiency of 50% at 800 nm and PRNU of 2%. It requires a DC voltage of 1.8 V and an analog power supply of 3.45 V (to read circuits/output buffers). This CMOS image sensor is RoHS compliant and is available in a combination of 76-pin ceramic PGA package & an invar block with mounting and guide pins. It is ideal for astronomy, science, and AR coating applications.
