The J736 from Highland Technology is an Optical to Electrical Converter that operates at wavelengths of 805 nm, 1310 nm, and 1550 nm. It has a propagation delay of less than 10 ns and pulse adjustable output of 0.8 V - 20 V. This O-E converter has a rise/fall time of 2 ns (Analog O-E monitor) and 1 s (HV output). It has a pulse rate from DC to 100 MHz and jitter below 20 ps (RMS). This O-E converter has a threshold power from 100 μW to 2 mW and is compatible with ST or SMA connectors. It requires a DC supply voltage of 24 V and consumes 100 mA of current. This O-E converter is available in an aluminum package that measures 2" x 3" x 1" and is ideal for laser, laser stack, optical modulator, PIN diode & SiC gate driver applications.
