The LRM-284 from InfraTec GmbH Infrarotsensorik und Messtechnik is a Multi-Channel Pyroelectric Detector that has a minimum field of view of 70o. It has a detectivity of 4.5 x 108 cm·sqrt(Hz)/W and maximum rms noise density of 45 μV/sqrt(Hz). This pyroelectric detector operates in current mode and has a thermal time constant of 100 ms. It has rectangular filters that measure 2.05 mm x 2.05 mm ± 0.1 mm with thickness of 0.50 mm +0.2/-0.1 mm.

The LRM-284 has an element size of 1.4 mm x 1.4 mm and a voltage responsivity of 70000 V/W. It has a feedback resistance of 100 GOhms and capacitance of 0.3 pF. This pyroelectric detector requires a DC supply voltage of 2.7 V - 5 V and consumes 900 μA of current. It integrates a beam splitter or micromechanical frame and has an OpAmp4 CMOS operational amplifier. This pyroelectric detector is available in a TO39 housing with an aperture size of ø 5 mm and is ideal for gas analysis & flame detection applications.
