The Flex BUNDLE Spectrometer from NLIR is a Mid-infrared (MIR) Spectrometer with an optical bandwidth of 2 µm - 5 µm. It combines NLIR's SPEKTRUM wavelength converter with a standard silicon-based Avantes AvaSpec Varius VIS/NIR spectrometer in a bundled spectrometer setup. This spectrometer can be connected via optical fiber to shift mid-infrared (MIR) light into the visible and near-infrared (VIS/NIR) range for detection. It has a resolution of 3 cm-1 and sensitivity of 8 k counts/(ms µW).
The Flex BUNDLE Spectrometer has an exposure time of 0.009 ms - 40 s and a maximum readout rate of 1.4 kHz. It has a 16-bit ADC and dark noise of 60 counts. This spectrometer supports SMA-905 fiber connectors and consumes a power of 60 W - 90 W. It is available in a standard module that measures 306 mm x 200 mm x 100 mm (NLIR SPEKTRUM Wavelength Converter) and 183 mm x 130 mm x 45.2 mm (Avantes AvaSpec Varius). This spectrometer is ideal for applications such as MIR spectroscopy, gas sensing, laser analysis, chemical identification, coating inspection & materials characterization across research & industrial environments.
