The Edge BUNDLE Spectrometer from NLIR is the Fastest Commercially Available Mid-infrared (MIR) Spectrometer with an optical bandwidth of 2 µm - 5 µm. It combines NLIR's SPEKTRUM wavelength converter and a standard silicon-based Wasatch Cobra 800 VIS/NIR spectrometer in a bundled spectrometer setup. This spectrometer can be connected via optical fiber to shift mid-infrared (MIR) light into the visible and near-infrared (VIS/NIR) range for detection. It has a resolution of 2.5 cm-1 and sensitivity of 1.6 k counts/(ms µW).

The Edge BUNDLE Spectrometer has an exposure time of 0.0013 ms - 0.654 ms and a maximum readout rate of 130 kHz. It has a 12-bit ADC and dark noise of 1 counts. This spectrometer supports SMA-905 fiber connector and consumes 60 W - 90 W of power. It is available in a standard module that measures 306 mm x 200 mm x 100 mm (NLIR SPEKTRUM Wavelength Converter) and is ideal for applications such as MIR spectroscopy, gas sensing, laser analysis, chemical identification, coating inspection & materials characterization across research & industrial environments.
