The SC-5 from Wuhan Yangtze Soton Laser is a Supercontinuum Source that has a spectral range of 450 nm - 2400 nm. It delivers a total output power above 1 W and has a repetition rate of 5 MHz. This unpolarised supercontinuum source has a pulse width of 100 ps and beam quality factor (M2) of up to 1.1. It has a spectrum power density greater than 10 dBm/nm (at 800 nm - 1700 nm) and spectrum stability below 0.1 dB (800 nm - 1700 nm).
The SC-5 can be controlled via Bluetooth or USB interface and supports FC/APC, FC/PC, CFS, or SMA output connectors. It has a 1.5 m output single-mode fiber and an anti-reflection isolator. This supercontinuum source requires an AC supply voltage of 100 V - 240 V and is available in a package that measures 300 mm x 245 mm x 70 mm. It is ideal for fiber component characterization, fiber sensing, OCT, industry inspection, broadband spectroscopy, and fluorescence spectroscopy applications.
