The TEM-800-200 from Brimrose Corporation is a free space Acousto-Optic (AOM) Modulator that operates at a spectral range from 380 nm to 1600 nm. This AOM has a modulation bandwidth of 200 MHz and a diffraction efficiency of 35%. It has a rise time of 3 ns and an active aperture that measures 0.05 mm. This AOM comes with an RF driver that is used to vary/control laser beam intensity. It is electronically programmable using a microprocessor connected to the Brimrose RF driver unit. The RF driver features all the necessary components to drive the modulator with analog or digital input control.

The TEM-800-200 has two driver options FFA-XX-B1-Fy and FFA-XX-B2-FY with a frequency accuracy of 0.015%, frequency stability of 0.0015%, and harmonic content of up to -20 dBc. This AO modulator requires an AC voltage of 90 - 240 V and consumes up to 55 Watts of power. It is ideal for TTL/digital amplitude modulation, analog amplitude modulation, photo processing, laser displays, micromachining, pulse picking, and OEM design applications.
