The H-903 from L3Harris Technologies is an Ultraviolet Deflector Acousto-Optic Modulator that operates at a wavelength of 355 nm. It has a center frequency of 200 MHz and minimum diffraction efficiency of over 80%. This vertically polarised AOM has a deflection bandwidth of 100 MHz and total deflection angle of 6.2 mrad. It has a maximum RF drive power of 9 W, nominal RF input impedance of 50 Ohms, and produces an optical beam diameter of 1.0 mm (1/e2) ± 0.25 mm.

The H-903 uses advanced beam-steering transducer array technology and a UV optical-grade crystalline quartz optical medium. It has three SMA cable interface connectors for phase-delayed RF source connections. This AOM is available in a module that measures 47.48 mm (L) x 41.08 mm (W) and is ideal for predeflection, beam intensity & position control, pointing adjustment & micromachining in UV laser systems, and ion-trap illumination applications.
