The AFSFL-PM-100 from Amonics Limited is a passive mode-locked fiber laser which generates soliton pulses without using external clocks. The femtosecond fiber laser operates from 1535 to 1565 nm and has an isolation of above 25 dB. It has a high output power of more than 100 mW and a pulse width of 100, 300 and 600 fs. This microprocessor controlled rackmount laser is equipped with alarms and status indicators. An integrated RS232 or Ethernet computer interface provides easy control, diagnostic functions and data acquisition. It is available in a module that measures 485(W) x 515(D) x 90(H) mm and is ideal for nonlinear ultrafast spectroscopy, micro machining and tetra hertz wave generation.
