The SWIFT from Beyond Photonics is a Continuous Wave Tunable Laser that operates at a wavelength of 2047 nm - 2059 nm. It delivers an output power of over 30 mW and has a tunable wavelength of ± 0.14 nm. This polarization-maintaining laser has a linear polarization output of greater than 100:1 and linewidth of less than 10 kHz/ms. It has an integral Faraday isolation of 60 dB and a piezo single-frequency tuning range above 20 GHz.
The SWIFT has a frequency drift below 1 GHz/day and can be controlled via PC or Graphical User Interface (GUI). It requires an AC supply voltage of 110 V and is available in a compact sealed package that measures 1.2" (W) x 2.8" (L) x 1" (H) (laser head) & 9" (W) x 7" (D) x 4" (H) (digital controller). This single-frequency laser is ideal for an eye-safe diode-pumped laser optimized for use in coherent and direct detection LiDAR systems.
