The SWIFT from Beyond Photonics is a compact, single-frequency, eye-safe Diode-Pumped Laser that operates at a wavelength from 2047 to 2059 nm. Exhibiting a high output power of over 30 mW (over 100 mW is also available) and short-term frequency jitter of less than 10 kHz/ms, the SWIFT is ideal for use as a master and local oscillator source in coherent lidar systems. The laser has fast piezo single-frequency tuning (>20 GHz) and is also capable of being thermally tuned. It has a linewidth of less than 10 kHz/ms and a long-term frequency drift of less than 1 GHz/day.
The laser has a very compact sealed laser head that measures 1.2 W x 2.8 L x 1 H inches and is available with a compact digital controller that measures 9 W x 7 D x 4 H inches; user-controlled via PC/GUI. It is ideal for spectroscopic applications like pollution monitoring and greenhouse gas measurements using differential absorption lidar techniques. Other possible wavelength options are also available that include 1.06, 1.32, 1.5, 1.617, 1.645, 2.02, and 2.09 micron, with multi-nm set-ability across each central wavelength case. This device operates over an AC supply voltage of 110 V.
