The Axon from Coherent is a family of Fixed Wavelength Femtosecond Lasers specifically designed for instrumentation and OEM integration. These air-cooled lasers provide an output power of up to 1000 mW. The laser head measures 212 x 318 x 62 mm and the power supply is available in a 3U, 19 inches rack mount unit.

Axon 920 is ideal for two-photon excitation of green fluorophores and calcium indicators such as GCaMP. Similarly, the Axon 1064 laser is perfect for red-shifted indicators. The laser can be optionally equipped with fully integrated Total Power Control (TPC) for fast power modulation and flyback blanking.
