The SONATA from Cycle GmbH is a Yb Femtosecond Laser that operates at a wavelength of 1030 nm. It delivers an output power of 10 mW (fiber output) & 100 mW (free-space output) and has a spectral bandwidth above 14 nm. This laser has a repetition rate of 40 MHz or 54 Mhz and pulse duration greater than 3 ps (fiber output) & less than 150 fs (free-space output). It has a pulse energy of 0.25 nJ and polarisation extinction ratio over 20 dB. This laser has a TEM00 mode with a beam quality factor (M2) of up to 1.1.

The SONATA supports turn-key, hands-free operation with a start-up time of 30 s. It requires a DC supply voltage of 100 V - 240 V and is available in a module that measures 326 mm x 266 mm x 199 mm. This laser is ideal for ultrafast pump-probe experiments with synchronization, seeding high-power amplifiers, ASOPS setups, nonlinear microscopy, and robust, turnkey research or industrial ultrafast applications.
