The YLS-CUT Series from IPG Photonics are Ytterbium Fiber Lasers that deliver 1 to 20 kW of power while operating at 1070 nm. They have a modulation frequency of up to 5 kHz. These lasers offer the broadest range of beam parameter product (BPP) with power tunability from 10 to 100% and a stability of ±1%. The CW lasers have a wall-plug efficiency of more than 40%.

The YLS-CUT series features a fiber block design with a 3 fold increase in damage power threshold, resulting in increased reliability. These lasers are available in a compact rugged design and are suitable for 2D/3D thin & thick cutting, processing copper, brass & aluminum, and stainless & mild steel cutting applications.
