The Erbium-doped Glass Laser is used in the field of eye-safe rangefinders and is characterized by its reliability and cost-effectiveness. This laser is also known as the 1535nm DPSS Eye-safe Laser because the light in this wavelength range is absorbed in the cornea and crystalline form of the eye and does not reach the more sensitive retina. The need for this DPSS eye-safe laser is critical in the field of laser ranging and radar, where light needs to travel long distances outdoors again, but some products in the past have been prone to damage or blinding hazards to the human eye. The current common bait glass lasers use co-doped Er:Yb phosphate glass as the working material and a semiconductor laser as the pump source, which can excite 1.5um band laser. Lumispot Tech has been committed to the independent research and development of erbium-doped glass laser, many times to optimize and improve the key process technology, the use of bait glass bonding technology, beam expansion technology, miniaturization technology, and now has perfected the 200uJ, 300uJ, 400uJ and high-frequency series of bait glass laser products in mass production. The product has the characteristics of small size and lightweight, weighing less than 20g, so it is suitable for multi-platform carrying and can be used alone or integrated into a variety of small optoelectronic systems, unmanned vehicles, unmanned aircraft, and other unmanned intelligent platform carrying. In addition, its excellent ranging capability, high energy, and good beam effect can be used for long-range ranging over 20km, and ranging can be achieved in harsh environments and under the influence of unfavorable weather. The operating temperature range of this product is very wide, from -40 degrees C to 60 degrees C, and the storage temperature is from -50 degrees C to 70 degrees C. The pulse width (FWHM) of the DPSS eye-safe laser is from 3 to 6 ns, with one particular model not exceeding 12 ns maximum. In addition to the rangefinder field, the product can also be used in environmental sensing, target indication, laser communication, and LIDAR, and our company can also fulfill the customization requirements of customers.
