The DFB pro BFY from TOPTICA Photonics is a Distributed Feedback (DFB) Laser that operates at a wavelength of 1064 nm - 2000 nm. It delivers an output power of 10 mW - 100 mW and has an instantaneous linewidth of up to 500 kHz. This linearly polarized laser produces a circular & divergent beam and has a polarization extinction ratio of 100:1. It has a mode-hop free tuning range of 2 nm - 5 nm with thermal tuning range above 600 GHz and an electric tuning range of over 25 GHz. This laser has a fiber pigtailed coupling with numerical aperture of 0.12 and features fast modulation.
The DFB pro BFY integrates an optical isolator and can be controlled via an Ethernet interface. It requires an AC supply voltage of 100 V - 240 V and consumes a maximum power of 50 W. This single-frequency laser is available in a butterfly package that measures 165 (D) mm x 130 (W) mm x 55 (H) mm (laser head) and 348 (D) mm x 450 (W) mm x 154 (H) mm (control unit).
