The AFODa-b-c-d-e/e from YOFC is an Optical Delay Line that operates at a frequency range from 100 MHz to 18 GHz. It has a Delay range of 2 - 128 µs with a delay step of 2 µs and a delay accuracy of 1%. This optical delay line has a switching time of up to 2 ms and an optical wavelength of 1310 or 1550 nm (optional). It has a dynamic range of 98 dB-Hz and a noise figure of up to 48 dB. This optical delay line requires an AC supply of 220 V and can be controlled remotely via an RS232 connector.

The AFODa-b-c-d-e/e has a pluggable blade modular design with consists of a 3U 19" rack-mount chassis, RF optical transceiver module, multiple fiber-optic delay module, optical amplifier module, and control module. It is ideal for radar system testing, phased array antennas, phase noise testing, signal processing, and test & calibration labs applications.
