The FCHI from Agiltron are InGaAs PIN Photodiodes that operates at a wavelength from 900 nm to 1600 nm. They have a responsivity of 25 mA/W and cut-off frequency of 2 GHz. These photoconductive photodiodes have a polarization-dependent loss of 0.03 dB and polarization extinction ratio of 23 dB. They have a dark current of 0.4 nA and capacitance of 0.2 pF. These single-mode fiber coupled photodiodes have a rise/fall time of 0.3 ns and require an input power of -45 dBm - 27 dBm. They have a reverse voltage of 5 V and support all fiber types. These photodiodes are available in a standard package that measures 6 x 18 mm (Dia. x L) and the size can be varied for other configurations. They are ideal for channel monitoring, power monitoring in optical interface modules, gain monitoring for amplifiers, and instrument applications.
