The SAR500H3 from Laser Components is a Silicon Avalanche Photodiode that operates at a wavelength of 400 nm - 1000 nm. It has a bandwidth of 10 kHz - 240 MHz and minimum aperture size of Ø 1.70. This photodiode has a responsivity of 0.54 MV/W (at 540 nm), 0.8 MV/W (at 650 nm), and 1 MV/W (at 905 nm). It has a peak sensitivity of 905 nm and Noise Equivalent Power (NEP) of 75 fW/rt(Hz) (at 540 nm), 50 fW/rt(Hz) (at 650 nm) & 40 fW/rt(Hz) (at 905 nm).

The SAR500H3 has an optimized low-noise hybrid preamplifier and offers differential-ended output. It has a diameter of 0.5 mm and an output noise density of 40 nV/rt(Hz). This photodiode requires a DC supply voltage of 5 V, current of 30 mA, and consumes 150 mW of power. It is available in a 5-pin TO-46 package and is ideal for range finding / LiDAR, optical communication systems, laser scanners, spectroscopy, fluorescence, and medical applications.
