The MTS40-A2-532.700-M002 from AA Opto Electronic is a TeO2 Acousto-Optic Modulator that operates at a wavelength of 532 nm - 700 nm. It has a frequency shift of +/- 40 MHz and VSWR of up to 1.2:1. This linearly polarized AO modulator has a rise/fall time of 0.6 - 2 µs and a beam diameter of 0.6 - 2 mm. It has a maximum analog amplitude modulation bandwidth of up to 800 kHz and a diffraction efficiency of 90% with a separation angle of 32.7 - 43 mrad. This AO modulator has an active aperture that measures 2 x 2 mmand can handle up to 0.5 W of RF power with a maximum optical power density of 5 W/mm2. It is available in an IN PRO 050 package that measures 50.9 x 22.4 x 17.3 mm3 and has an SMA female connector. This AOM is ideal for biophotonics and interferometry applications.
