| Tunable CW Lasers from 1260 to 1580 nm |
Laser
from Quantifi Photonics
|
| The EPIQ-Lasers from Quantifi Photonics are Swept, Tunable CW Laser Sources that operate from 1260-1340 nm, 1260-1420 nm, and 1520-1580 nm. They provide an output power of over 10 mW and have a power stability of ±0.01 dB. These lasers have a linewidth (FWHM) of less than 200 MHz and signal to source ASE ratio of more than 60 dB. They have a step tuning time of 50 ms and a maximum sweep speed of 400 nm/s. |

| Ultralow-Loss Integrated Photonic Circuits with Record Low Optical Losses & Small Footprints |
EPFL
|
| Scientists at EPFL have developed ultralow-loss silicon nitride integrated circuits that are central for many photonic devices, such as chip-scale frequency combs, narrow-linewidth lasers, coherent LiDAR, and neuromorphic computing. Encoding information into light, and transmitting it through optical fibers lies at the core of optical communications. Integrated photonic chips are usually made from silicon that is abundant and has good optical properties. |
