The EP1550-NLW-B-100 from Eblana Photonics is a Discrete-Mode Laser Diode that operates at a centre wavelength of 1550 nm. It delivers an output power of 5 mW and has an optical linewidth of up to 100 kHz. This single-mode laser diode has a wavelength tolerance of ± 2 nm and slope efficiency of 0.03 mW/mA. It has an internal TEC, a thermistor, and monitor photodiode. This optically isolated laser diode has a side mode suppression ratio (SMSR) of 40 dB and thermistor resistance of 10 kOhms. It has a monolithic coherence structure and requires a threshold current of 40 mA. This laser diode is available in a 14-pin Butterfly package that measures 33.8 mm x 15.2 mm and is ideal for FMCW LiDAR, interferometry, coherent communications & metrology applications.
