The LD-1470-0020-DFB-1 from TOPTICA Photonics is a Distributed feedback (DFB) Laser Diode that operates at a wavelength of 1470 nm. It delivers an output power of 20 mW and has a frequency-selective structure within the laser chip which restricts the laser emission to a single longitudinal mode. This laser diode's lasing wavelength is tuned by varying either the driver current or the chip temperature. It can maintain a single-frequency operation of over several hundred GHz without any mode-hops. This laser diode is available in a butterfly pigtail package with a built-in thermistor and thermoelectric cooler.
