The LDS-1550-DFB-2.5G-15/50 from LasersCom is a Multi Quantum Well (MQW) Laser Diode that operates at a wavelength of 1550 nm. It delivers an optical power of 50 mW (pulsed) & above 15 mW (CW) and has a spectral width of 0.08 nm. This laser diode has a rise/fall time of 80 ps, slope efficiency of 0.16 W/A, and minimum polarizarion extinction ratio of 20 dB. It has a capacitance of 10 pF, dark current of less than 100 nA, and a tracking error of 0.15 dB. This laser diode has a side-mode suppression ratio of 55 dB and resonance frequency of 6 GHz.

The LDS-1550-DFB-2.5G-15/50 has a DFB cavity and built-in monitor photodiode. It uses LDS technology to increase the thermal stability of optical power. This laser diode requires a threshold current of 8 mA, DC supply voltage of 1.4 V, and consumes 100 mA of current. It is available in a coaxial or coaxial with bracket packages and supports SM/PM fiber options with FC/APC, SC/APC, FC/UPC & SC/UPC connector options. This laser diode is ideal for optical fiber communication systems with data rates of up to 2.5 Gbps and laser system applications.
